Ethnic Group Identification Through the Use of Ethnic Media and Self Esteem
During my Communications Research Project, I designed, conducted, and produced a research study about the effects of exposure and consumption of ethnic media content and how it impacts ethnic identification. I chose this topic specifically to see if Asian and Asian American media content affected Asian Americans and their ethnic group identity and how one’s ethnic identification correlated with their self-esteem.
